Donald Trump Claims “Father of IVF” Title, Talks Abortion and “Enemy from Within” at Fox News Town Hall

During a Fox News town hall, Donald Trump called himself the “father of IVF” in an attempt to win over women voters. He addressed abortion, his support for in vitro fertilization (IVF), and reiterated previous statements about “the enemy from within.” Trump’s remarks reflect his efforts to secure key demographic support ahead of the upcoming election.

Trump Addresses Women Voters in Fox News Town Hall

During a town hall event moderated by Fox News host Harris Faulkner, Donald Trump sought to appeal to women voters in the battleground state of Georgia. One of his key messages was about abortion, a topic that has become highly significant in the lead-up to the election. Trump encouraged attendees to “follow their heart” on abortion and reiterated his support for exceptions in cases of rape, incest, and the life of the mother. He also expressed pride in the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, a landmark ruling that has reshaped abortion access across the country.

Trump’s Stance on IVF: “Father of IVF”

Trump made a notable claim during the town hall, calling himself the “father of IVF.” This statement was in response to concerns raised by a woman in the audience about abortion bans potentially affecting in vitro fertilization (IVF) services. Trump referenced his role in defending IVF after a court ruling in Alabama paused IVF services, which caused a national debate. He expressed his commitment to ensuring access to fertility treatments and highlighted that the Republican Party strongly supports IVF, even more so than Democrats.

Comments on “The Enemy from Within”

In addition to discussing abortion and fertility, Trump doubled down on recent remarks he made about “the enemy from within.” He criticized “radical-left lunatics” and described them as Marxists who pose a serious threat to the country. Trump emphasized that these individuals are more dangerous than foreign adversaries like China and Russia, and he suggested the military could be called upon if needed. His statements drew sharp criticism from Vice President Kamala Harris, who labeled his comments “unhinged.”

Criticism of Political Opponents

Trump also used the town hall to criticize several political figures, including Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. He accused them of working against efforts to “make America great again” and claimed they were focused on undermining the country. He characterized these individuals as “sick” and “evil,” accusing them of being the real threats to American progress.
