Welcoming Palestinian Students

During the event, President Diaz-Canel expressed solidarity with the Palestinian students, recognizing their pivotal role as the “future of Palestine.” He assured them of unwavering support, emphasizing that every possible effort would be made to facilitate and advance their medical specializations.

Cuban President’s Condemnation

President Diaz-Canel unequivocally condemned Israeli actions in Gaza, characterizing them as an attempt to erase the future of Palestine. He drew attention to distressing statistics, revealing that two-thirds of the civilians killed by Israel were women and children. The President passionately decried the ongoing barbarity, pledging active involvement in supporting the students’ education.

Hope for an Independent Palestine

Expressing optimism for Palestine to achieve independence and sovereignty through the exercise of its right to self-determination, President Diaz-Canel asserted that Cuba would not remain indifferent to Israel’s actions.
