The Biden campaign swiftly condemned the video, expressing concerns that it implied physical harm to the sitting Democratic president. Michael Tyler, the Biden campaign’s communications director, accused Trump of regularly inciting political violence, referencing the January 6 Capitol riot.
Trump Campaign’s Response
In response, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung defended the video, stating that the image was on the back of a pickup truck traveling down the highway. Cheung criticized Democrats and alleged that they have called for violence against Trump and his family.
Secret Service Statement
The U.S. Secret Service released a statement refraining from commenting on the matter, stating that it does not confirm or comment on protective intelligence issues.

The former president shared the video on his social media platform, Truth Social, mentioning that it was captured in Long Island, New York, on Thursday. Trump attended the wake of a New York City police officer who was killed during a traffic stop on that day.
