Don Davis Endorses Kamala Harris for President and Roy Cooper for Vice President

Centrist Democrat Rep. Don Davis endorses Kamala Harris for president and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper for vice president, while also addressing concerns about the southern border.

Rep. Don Davis, a centrist Democrat known for occasionally breaking with his party, endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential bid on Friday. This endorsement came a day after Davis joined five other Democrats in criticizing Harris’s handling of the southern border.

In an unusual move, Davis also endorsed North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper as Harris’s vice presidential pick.
